Upon your arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) in Kathmandu, our office Representative from Motor Bike Tour in Nepal (Ambassador Himalaya) will greet you and facilitate your transfer to the hotel. In the evening, you'll have the opportunity to explore and immerse yourself in the local ambiance. This exploration promises to be an enjoyable introduction to the vibrant culture and lifestyle of Kathmandu. After breakfast at around 9:00 am this morning, your appointed Road Captain will meet you at the hotel to begin the ride towards Pokhara. It's important to carry a photocopy of both the photo page and Nepal visa page of your passport for reference. The adventure starts in Kathmandu, where you'll navigate through the bustling city streets. Once you reach the Thankot Check Post, prepare for a thrilling downhill ride until you arrive at Naubise. Here, you'll have a chance for a brief rest and refreshment.

The journey continues as you ride along the river, passing through various towns and villages. Covering a distance of about 202 kilometers, our drive is expected to unfold over approximately 6/7 hours, allowing us to immerse ourselves in the breathtaking scenery along the route.  The road to Pokhara will treat us to a diverse panorama, ranging from lush greenery to the majestic peaks of the Himalayas. As we traverse the winding roads, anticipation will build for the experiences awaiting us in Pokhara, a city known for its tranquil lakes, vibrant culture, and the awe-inspiring Annapurna mountain range standing as a silent sentinel in the distance.

Riding Time: Approximately 6 hours

Todays an early breakfast, we'll continue a journey to the town of Beni, situated 90 kilometers away on the Baglung Highway. This drive is expected to take about 3 hours, making Beni an ideal spot for a lunch break. Post-lunch, we'll continue on a rugged path along the newly constructed road to Jomsom. This route takes us through the world's deepest gorge, sandwiched between two of the highest mountains: Dhaulagiri (8167M, the 7th highest) to the west and Annapurna (8091M, the 10th highest) to the right. Our destination is Tatopani, a locale renowned for its therapeutic hot springs, which have made it a favored overnight stop.

The name 'Tatopani' translates to 'Hot Water', aptly describing the natural hot springs nearby. We will spend the night in Tatopani, with your Road Captain available to suggest entertainment and activities to enrich your experience.

Side Trips: Visit the revered Baglung Kalika Temple, a significant religious site in the region. Explore the area's longest suspension bridge, offering spectacular views and a thrilling experience. Additionally, take time to relax and rejuvenate your body at the natural hot springs, a perfect retreat for unwinding and soaking in the serene ambiance

After breakfast at the hotel, we will start our ride by 9:00 am, heading towards the Himalayan zone. Today's journey involves an ascent through some of the world's highest mountains located in the Eastern side, with all off-road riding today into the high Himalayan region.

As we progress northward, a noticeable change in the surrounding vegetation and nature's allure will be evident, marking our entry into a different ecological zone.

Upon reaching Jomsom, we'll have leisure time to relax and explore. Jomsom, at an elevation of 2743 meters, serves as the administrative center of the Mustang Region and the gateway to the Annapurna region. This area is steeped in mystique, with the rugged peaks of the Annapurna, Nilgiri, and Dhaulagiri mountains providing a breathtaking backdrop. The stark beauty of these weathered landscapes is in stark contrast to the deep river ravines and the lively sounds of the river beds below. We'll spend the night in Jomsom, with your Road Captain available to suggest entertainment and activities to further enrich your experience in this captivating region.

Side trip: Explore Old Marpha Village (2650 meters) in the Kali Gandaki Valley of the lower Mustang region. Renowned for its unique name, derived from “mar” (hard-working) and “pha” (people), Marpha is a captivating blend of tradition and modernity. While the advent of tourism has introduced modern amenities, the villagers have diligently preserved their rich cultural heritage. The village thrives on tourism and mule rearing and is famous throughout Nepal for its "Marpha apples," used in local brandies and jams. Visitors are often welcomed with the village's signature strong apple brandy and sweet apple pie, set against a backdrop of charming cobblestone streets and traditional flat-roofed houses.

After breakfast at the hotel, our journey takes us towards Muktinath via Kagbeni. Here, nestled amidst majestic mountains, lies the tranquil village of Kagbeni, serving as the gateway to both Upper Mustang and Muktinath. We'll take a brief tour around this picturesque village to soak in its beauty and capture memories. Then, we ascend to Muktinath, reaching the highest point accessible by a surprisingly smooth, albeit narrow, black-topped road that winds up to this small town cradled in the lap of the Nilgiri Himalayas.

Muktinath holds great religious significance, revered not only for its spiritual importance but also as a key destination on the popular Annapurna circuit trek. It's believed by both Hindus and Buddhists that reaching Muktinath helps the soul ascend to heaven after death. We'll spend time strolling through this town, taking in the stunning views of the Himalayas and the Kali Gandaki River. This visit offers a wonderful opportunity to interact with the highland locals, learn about their lifestyle, traditions, and culture, and understand the unique blend of nature and spirituality that defines Muktinath. For those interested, the village also offers the chance to purchase ammonite fossils, geological treasures that date back millions of years, remnants of the time when the Eurasian and Indian tectonic plates collided. After a day rich in exploration and discovery, we'll descend back to Kagbeni for an overnight stay. Your Road Captain will be available throughout the day for entertainment and to suggest activities to enhance your experience

After breakfast at the hotel, we start on an exciting journey towards Upper Mustang, a restricted and hidden land full of wonders. Our adventure into Upper Mustang begins immediately after crossing the checkpoint at Kagbeni village's end. As we ride along the banks of the Kali Gandaki River, we'll pass through local Himalayan residences, witnessing the daily life of the people in this region. The route, winding up towards the "roof of the world," offers breathtaking views of the mesmerizing landscapes that characterize this area.

The exhilaration of riding in a small group across the vast, unique terrain of the mountains, with their colorful cliffs and canyons, is truly unmatched. We'll pass through villages situated at an altitude of 3800 meters and cross the Nya La pass at 4010 meters, immersing ourselves in the stark beauty and isolation of the high-altitude environment. After a challenging day of riding across these trails, we'll arrive at the small settlement of Ghami. Here, you'll have leisure time to relax and soak in the unique atmosphere of this remote civilization. We'll stay overnight in Ghami, with your Road Captain available to suggest entertainment and activities to further enhance your experience in this extraordinary part of the world.

Start the day with breakfast, gearing up for an exciting journey to our ultimate destination, Lo-Manthang. The route to this ancient city is as captivating as the destination itself. We'll pass through several distinctive Maru walls and traverse the significant village of Tsarang, sitting at an altitude of 3560 meters. Along the way, the ever-changing panoramic views of the mountains offer a visual feast from various perspectives. As Lo-Manthang comes into view, distinguished by its encompassing walls, the anticipation builds.

Upon arrival in Lo Manthang, resting at a local tea house is advisable for acclimatization. At an elevation of 3,800 meters, Lo Manthang is a unique Tibetan settlement, founded in 1380. This medieval city, once the capital of Upper Mustang, is steeped in history and culture. Surrounded by high ridges, its walled structure gives it various names like the Forbidden Kingdom, the Walled City, or the City within a Wall. The allure of Lo Manthang lies in its blend of legend and reality, drawing visitors have for decades to explore its mythical charm.

Side Trip: Visit Ghar Gumba, One of the oldest ministries in the world. Exploring Ghar Gumba is not only a journey back in time but also an immersion in the tranquil ambiance that surrounds this revered place of worship. Today marks a day of extensive exploration in Upper Mustang. Starting with breakfast, we'll embark on a ride to the Nepal-Tibet border, specifically to Kora La, which stands at a breathtaking altitude of 4660 meters. This remarkable spot is situated on a paved road at a high altitude and serves as the border between Nepal and Tibet, part of the vast Tibetan Plateau – often referred to as "The Roof of the World". Kora La is not only a geographical landmark but also a place where the territories of Nepal and Tibet meet side by side. It's approximately 20 kilometers from Lo Manthang and offers stunning views of the Himalayas and the valley below.

This journey allows the group to enjoy the final point of our ride, which extends slightly beyond Lo Manthang. Today, there’s also the opportunity to engage with the local community. If you wish, you can visit a local school to distribute educational materials, creating a moment of joy for the local children. Additionally, we'll explore the area around Lo Manthang, including a visit to the remarkable Jhong cave. This five-story structure is built into a cliff and boasts more than 40 rooms, offering a unique glimpse into ancient architectural marvels. After a day filled with adventure and cultural immersion, we'll ride back and check into the same hotel for an overnight stay, with leisure time to relax and prepare for the long ride back the following day.

Today we are on the longest drive of our journey, beginning early in the morning after breakfast. We'll retrace our path, descending along the serpentine trail through Ghilling. Throughout the day, you'll be treated to breathtaking views of the vast plateau lands and the panoramic Himalayas, a constant companion during our ride. The journey back is as visually rewarding as it is challenging, offering a different perspective on the landscapes we’ve traversed. After a full day of riding, filled with awe-inspiring sights and the thrill of the journey, we'll arrive at Kagbeni. Here, a well-deserved rest awaits, allowing you to reflect on the day's experiences and rejuvenate for the adventures that lie ahead.

As you wake up to the stunning views and peaceful ambiance of the remote village, the day begins with a sense of calm and anticipation. After enjoying breakfast, we embark on our journey back to Tatopani, traveling through the scenic routes via Jomsom. This leg of the journey offers a moment to reflect on the incredible experiences of the past 12 days of our epic motorcycle trip through the Himalayas.

Arriving in Tatopani, you will be greeted with the opportunity to indulge in one of the village's most cherished natural treasures – the soothing hot springs. These springs are not just a leisurely attraction; they are a haven for rest and recovery. After rigorous and exhilarating motorcycle adventure across diverse terrains and high altitudes, the hot springs provide a perfect setting for your body to relax and recuperate. The warm, mineral-rich waters offer therapeutic relief, aiding in muscle recovery and rejuvenation. This experience is an ideal way to unwind and reflect on the journey, amidst the serene backdrop of Tatopani. The night will be spent here, allowing you to fully embrace the tranquility and healing properties of the hot springs, as you prepare for the concluding chapters of our Himalayan adventure.

In the morning, after enjoying breakfast, we'll begin our ride towards Pokhara at 9:00 am. Today marks a significant shift in our journey, as after 16 kilometers of off-road riding, you'll feel a sense of true relief and accomplishment when we rejoin the asphalt road. This transition symbolizes the completion of the more challenging segments of our Himalayan adventure.

Upon arrival in Pokhara, a well-deserved leisure time awaits. This is the perfect opportunity to stroll around the Lakeside area and explore the vibrant tourist town. Pokhara, with its laid-back charm and scenic beauty, offers a contrasting experience to the rugged terrains we've traversed. As you walk around, you can witness the panoramic Himalayas, offering a backdrop that tells the tale of your epic journey through the land of the majestic Himalayas.

Looking northwards at the white snow-capped peaks, each one seems to greet you with familiarity, reminding you of the adventures, the diverse livelihoods of the people, their rich cultures, and the magnificent landscapes you've encountered in the Himalayan region. These views not only offer a moment of reflection on your journey but also a profound connection with the natural wonders and the enduring spirit of the places you've visited. Overnight, we'll stay in Pokhara, basking in the memories of our journey and the tranquil beauty of this famous tourist destination.

After breakfast in the morning, we'll set off at 9:00 am for our ride back to Kathmandu, aiming to arrive by 5:00 PM. The journey back follows the same route along the picturesque river valley, offering one last chance to soak in the stunning landscapes of Nepal. This ride marks the conclusion of our memorable tour.

Upon arrival in Kathmandu, we'll celebrate the end of our incredible journey with farewell drinks and a BBQ, a perfect occasion to share stories, and laughs, and reminisce about our experiences through the restricted and wondrous land of Upper Mustang.

Today marks the official conclusion of our journey. We will arrange for your transportation to Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu, ensuring a smooth and timely departure for your flight.
