Day 1 :

Kathmandu (1400m)

Upon arrival at Kathmandu Tribhuvan International Airport, our team will greet you and transfer you directly to your hotel. At evening there will be short briefing session and introduction session on the hotel lobby by Road captain and a quick completion of paperwork and formalities will ensure a seamless start to our journey.

Day 2 :

Ride to Besisahar ((760m)

Riding distance: 106 km

Riding Time: Approximately 4 hours

Enjoy your delicious breakfast at Kathmandu, we are ready for our first day ride towards Besishar. You depart from the vibrant city of Kathmandu, leaving behind its bustling atmosphere, and commence on the Prithvi highway, making our way towards the busy town. After crossing a bridge in Mugling, you will move towards Dumre. Crossing some farm villages, terraced farmlands and zigzagged paths, you will finally reach your destination of Besisahar.

Day 3 :

Besisahar to Chame (2670m)

Riding distance: 66 km

Riding Time: Approximately 3-4 hours

On the third day of our Ride, you will be riding through a difficult path. The road is mostly rocky and twisted. The trail passes through Jagat and proceeds towards Dharapani. During your ride you will enjoy the deep gorges and beautiful waterfalls. Enjoying a breathtaking view of Lamjung Himal (6,983m), Annapurna II (7,937m), and other snow-capped mountains, you will reach the small village of Chame.

Day 4 :

Chame to Manang (3540 m)

Riding distance: 31 km

Riding Time: Approximately 4-5 hours

After a refreshing breakfast in Chame, we continue our adventurous ride conquering the challenging rocky off-road trails. As we start, we are welcomed by massive stretches of attractive grasslands and breathtaking views of majestic waterfalls, lush greenery, and snow-covered mountains. Our path takes us across refreshing streams, adding an exciting touch to our ride.

The Riding ascent becomes more demanding, but with determination, we ultimately arrive at the pleasing village of Pissang. The beautiful houses and an attractive stoned paved path of pissang makes yours ride more adventures. Moreover, we are welcomed by the unbeatable panoramas of the legendary Annapurna massif put side by side against the backdrop of the green grasslands, where graceful wild horses and a variety of grazing cattle roam freely. These awe-inspiring moments truly inspire the majesty of this unparalleled motor bike riding experience.

Day 5 :

Ride to Khangsar (3745m) and Back to Manang (3540 m)

Riding distance: 20 km

Riding Time: Approximately 3 hours

Today is the rest day at Manang. We explore the beautiful Manang village situated at the 3540m from sea level. We also ride to Khangsar village following the rugged jeep track, an isolated village famous for its seclusion. We enjoy the eye sliding view of Annapurna ranges from khangsar and ride back to Manang. You have more time so, enjoy the short hike over local glaciers and ice lakes over there.

Day 6 :

Ride to Bandipur via Besisahar

Riding distance: 145 km

Riding Time: Approximately 7-8 hours

Enjoy the organic breakfast with beautiful mountain views. We rap up our adventure Manang motorbike Tour with good memories. Now ready for trace back the road towards the towards the elevated hilltop village Bandipur. This attractive destination offers the perfect environment to unwind and find peacefulness, allowing you to indulge in a well-deserved state of relaxation.

Day 7 :

Bandipur to Kathmandu

Riding distance: 135 km

Riding Time: Approximately 5-6 hours

Continue our trace back ride towards Kathmandu following Prithivi Highway. After reaching at Kathmandu you have a free day, enjoy the day troll around the city with shopping. At evening enjoy the farewell dinner at Nepali bhancha ghar.

Free day

Today, you have a full day vibrant city sightseeing including the four UNESCO heritage sites in Kathmandu. This day is filled with cultural engagement and exploration the history and beauty of these ancient cities.

Based on the scheduled departure time, arrangements will be made to ensure for transportation to the airport. How fit do I need to be to do this trek?

Annapurna Base Camp is a Grade B or a moderately difficult trekking route. So any fit person can do this trek, even if you do not have any previous experience. You should be aware of what to expect and mentally prepare for it. Then, as long as you will too, you can.

How long do we walk every day when doing Annapurna Base Camp trekking?

On average, you walk about 4 to 6 hours per day. One or two days can be as less as 3hrs and one or two days can be as long as 7hrs.

What is the highest altitude reached in this trek?

The highest altitude reached is 4190m. This is the elevation of Annapurna Base Camp. ABC is the highest we will climb in this trek.

What about battery charging and hot shower facilities?

Yes, you can charge batteries en route. Charger should be brought. There are hot shower facilities as well. You may have to pay a certain amount for both ($1-$2). Negotiate. Also, a hot water facility could be free at a lower elevation.

Are there ATMs on the way to Annapurna Base Camp?

No. There are no ATMs on this trek route. You will have to draw enough cash in Pokhara or Kathmandu. There are a number of ATMs in these cities. Everything is paid in Nepali rupees. So money should be exchanged before the start of the trek.

What about internet access?

Yes. The Internet can be accessed in most places. Sometimes, there might be some technical problems. The Internet in Nepal is not as fast as you are used to and at times you can just lose connection.

Is it necessary to hire Guides/trekking agency for Annapurna Base Camp trekking?

Not really. It depends on you. If you want, ABC trekking can be done independently. You could hire a guide and a porter by yourself instead of going through an agency or not hire a guide at all. Although, not having a guide can be a little problematic during the offseason.

It really depends on you. Is it your first time in Nepal? How confident are you of being able to find your way around? How pressed on time are you? If you go through an agency, it will be costlier but everything will be planned. You will only have to come, trek and return.

How much do guides and porters cost?

For the Annapurna region, pay for guides range from $20 to $30 per day and porters take $15 to $25 per day.
